#drabble #ai: I asked Chat GPT to write a drabble, and this is what I got ...
I know there's been a lot of talk about AI, but am I the only person who pronounces it in a Yorkshire accent as 'Aye'? Anyway, I decided to ask ChatGPT to write a Drabble- a story of 100 words only- about a man who dies and is refused entry to both heaven and hell. And this is what I got:
THE NOWHERE MAN.
In life, Sam's moral compass was a little skewed. In death, his fate was as perplexing as ever. Standing at the crossroads of the afterlife, he faced rejection from both heaven and hell.
St. Peter frowned, "Your deeds fall short for paradise."
Satan sneered, "Even my inferno has standards."
Confused and adrift, Sam wandered the void between realms. He began to understand the weight of his choices, the pain he'd caused. A chance to redeem, to learn from his past, emerged from the darkness.
Eons later, he stood again at those gates. This time, both welcomed him, for a soul forged anew is a testament to the power of change.
I actually think it’s quite good, and it does ‘sound’ like me .., I also asked Chat GPT to do one of those action figures that are flooding social media at the moment. I love me zeitgeist, me.
Let’s be careful out there …
