Well, a veritable cornucopia of carryings on have caught my bleary eye of late, so Hey! Ho! Let’s go! … you know, a lot of us are equally suspicious of and fascinated with AI (Aye!), but there’s plenty of stuff out there worth sticking your neb into. Such as this Harry Potter trailer looking as if it were made in the 1950’s.Tidy.

My home town of Hartlepool has produced quite a few tasty bands, none of which had any great success. Here are The Apes of God, introduced by Rev Bhuna McGuire, playing live upstairs in The Clarendon, I think, sometime in the early ‘80s.
The late great Kenneth Williams died of this day in 1988, and here’s a nice picture of him.
Nick Triplow once wrote a brilliant novel callled Frank’s Wild Years, probably named after the Tom Waits song. That was ages ago but on 10th October, No Exit Press will publish The Last Days Of Johnny Nunn.
